Camp Warwick Update for Summer 2026

We have made the difficult decision not to run Day Camp programs this summer and recognize the challenge and inconvenience this creates for our families who rely on us during the summer months.

There are a number of positive events occurring this year which will enable us to revamp our camp program and facilities to allow for a much better experience next year and for many years to come.

All of us at Camp Warwick are deeply grateful for your continued support over the years and feel truly honored to have had the opportunity to get to know you and your children. Please be assured that we are working diligently to bring Day Camp back next summer with improvements in programs and substantial improvements in our facilities.

Thank you for being a valued part of our community. We wish you a healthy and safe summer, and we truly hope to welcome you back to Camp Warwick next year.

Future Adventure Camp summer programs

Rain or shine, campers are welcomed each day by our dedicated summer staff at Camp Warwick. Adventure Camp is a part of our Day Camp program, meaning that it runs Monday-Friday and has the same drop-off and pick-up times at Day Camp. What sets it apart is that it runs on its own schedule at the Adventure Camp Pavillion.

Adventure Camp is offered for 8 or 9 weeks each summer, depending on the school calendar, for campers who have completed 6th-8th grade. Join us for summers filled with new and old friends on 450+ acres of wooded land! Campers are welcome for technology-free days of fun, growth, and lasting memories!

Adventure Camp includes all of the usual camp activities, plus an additional off-site trip each week. Activities will include recreational games on the fields, swimming, hiking, arts and crafts, and Reflections combined with fun weekly themes and opportunities to learn new things. Each week we will hiking to Wawayanda State Park for a barbecue, swimming, and canoeing.

Off-site trips will be different each week. Trips may include a day at Storm King Art Center, mini golf at The Castle, a baseball game, a day at Winslow Therapeutic Center, and more. These trips will be announced in the Spring. Space each week is limited for this program, so make sure to sign up early!

Adventure Camp also has 2 additional program add ons! First is an overnight experience that will be Wednesday night through Friday program and the other is for 8th graders who are interested in having the opportunity to work with Camp Sunrise as a Camp Sunrise Jr. Counselor from Tuesday evening through Thursday Morning. More information about each program can be found by clicking on the program names! They can be added to your camper’s session(s) during registration.
